The Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) is an organization that aims to foster cooperation among higher education institutions where French is used, either entirely or partially, as the language of instruction. The organization, which operates under a regionally structured management model, is headquartered in Canada. Only four universities from Turkey have been accepted as members of this organization. Yıldız Technical University has been among the member institutions since 2012.
- Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK)
Our department is carrying out the work on the National Occupational Standard for Translators—conducted in collaboration with the Turkish Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK) under the Ministry of Labor and Social Security—on behalf of Yıldız Technical University.
Five universities are collaborating with the Vocational Qualifications Authority on the translator profession. The universities participating under the coordination of Istanbul University are as follows: Yıldız Technical University; Boğaziçi University; Hacettepe University; Bilkent University.
