Below is the necessary information for students wishing to take the FYS exam, which will consist of a written portion on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, and an oral portion on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
WRITTEN EXAM:
DATE: Tuesday, September 8, 2026
LOCATION: YTÜ Davutpaşa Campus – Faculty of Science and Letters, Building B
Classrooms: B1-D01
TIME:
- Written exam hours: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Listening (20 min): 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
- Reading (45 min) + Grammar (30 min) + Vocabulary (20 min): 10:30 a.m. – 12:05 p.m.
- Writing (1 hour 30 minutes): 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
ORAL SECTION:
DATE: Thursday, September 10, 2026
LOCATION: YTÜ Davutpaşa Campus - Faculty of Science and Letters, Building B
Classrooms: B1-D01, B1-D02, B1-D03
TIME:
Oral exams will be conducted in individual 15-minute sessions.
Oral exam appointment times will be announced to students on the Department’s website on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
